Dear Friends,
Today the House of Representatives passed my bipartisan Federal Judiciary Stabilization Act (FJSA), legislation introduced alongside Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).
This important bill transitions 10 existing temporary federal judgeships to permanent status, providing much-needed stability and efficiency to America’s federal court system. I am grateful for Senator Cruz’s support this effort and look forward to this becoming law in the coming weeks.
The 10 affected judicial districts include: Alabama-Northern Arizona California-Central Florida-Southern Hawaii Kansas Missouri-Eastern New Mexico North Carolina-Western Texas-Eastern
These judgeships are vital to addressing backlogs and ensuring timely access to justice. I’m proud to have worked with Senators Cruz to advance S.3998, which strengthens our judiciary and serves the needs of every American, regardless of party or state.

Sincerely,
