Patriot,

The most important thing about American democracy is the Declaration of Independence because it states that there are fundamental God-given rights.

It’s such an important political and philosophical tenet.

Yet, most young Americans are hopelessly unaware of these concepts, and it’s a dangerous threat to the future of our Republic.

… But I have hope.

In fact, I am optimistic about the future of our country and our nation’s youth.

Here’s why:

The Dissident Project speakers Daniel Di Martino and Tahmineh Dehbozorgi, who escaped socialism, hunger, and totalitarian regimes, came on my podcast to share everything they are doing to spread our message to high school students:

You can support the Dissident Project’s efforts to educate high schoolers about the dangers of socialism and totalitarianism by making a donation of ANY amount by clicking here!

Tahmineh talked about some of Iran’s socialist policies. While the government makes it easy to start a business, you never know when it will be taken away without due process.

Daniel told me about how people in his country used to joke about how they were nothing like Cuba. They were a democracy, had oil, and Cuba was on an island. After they elected Hugo Chavez, the only difference was Venezuelans could escape the country on foot.

Both of their stories reminded me of why I’m proud to live in America. We’re lucky to live in a country that protects our rights. But their stories also reminded me of how quickly those rights can go away.

These are stories that American students need to hear.

The Dissident Project gives speakers like Daniel and Tahmineh, who fled socialist countries, the opportunity to share their experiences with high school students across the country.

I told Daniel, the founder of the Dissident Project, that I would help them raise $20,000 before the end of the month to help Dissident Project speakers share their stories with more students. Please consider giving a gift of $10, $35, $50, or even $100 today. Click here to send your urgent donation >>

A lot of Americans are under the false belief that the last 70 years of American power, this kind of Pax Americana, are normal.

They’re not normal. Not for human history.

Students today have zero appreciation for it or understanding where it came from.

That’s why The Dissident Project is so important and why their activism is so important.

You and I can repeat the stories of places like Iran, Venezuela, and China. We can talk about how all of this ends up. But we don’t really know what it’s like to live in those countries.

But their experiences, especially recent ones, are the most beneficial to students because they think it can’t happen now.

Dissident Project speakers are living proof of what happens when socialism takes over.

The Dissident Project speakers are doing more than just visiting schools. They are also using the media, like my podcast, to share our stories with the rest of America to have an even greater impact on the country.

I know how powerful it can be to hear about these experiences in person.

A live testimonial has the power to go beyond the transmission of information. Live speeches catch more attention and allow for follow-up from high school students. This interaction is vital for the speakers to connect with students and deliver their message of freedom.

That’s why the Dissident Project sends our speakers to high schools across the country in person.

It’s your generous gift that helps Dissident Project speakers share their experiences about what it is like growing up in a socialist country. Please donate today and help us meet our $20,000 goal before the end of the month. Click below to show your support.
