1. House Democrats' $725 Billion Defense Authorization Bill for FY2020

This bill would authorize $724.9 billion in defense spending for fiscal year 2020, of which $655.9 billion would go to the base budget and $69 billion to Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO).  Vote now →  

2. Should Gendered References to the President and 'His' Spouse Be Struck From the U.S. Code?

This bill — the 21st Century President Act — would remove gendered references to the president and their spouse in the U.S. Code. This would entail removing references to presidents as men and their spouses as wives.  Vote now →  

3. Should Per-Country Immigration Limits Be Lifted?

This bill would eliminate per-country percentage caps in the employment-based green card system and increase the per-country numerical limitation for family-based immigrants from 7% to 15% of the total number of family-sponsored visas. Under current law, the per country caps have created a backlog of would-be immigrants from more populous countries. This bill would also remove an offset that reduce the number of visas for individuals from China.  Vote now →
