Howdy,

I hope you are having a good week! As always, thank you for taking the time to read this edition of the Chairman’s Newsletter. I am excited to share some party updates and opportunities coming up.

Texas has spoken, securing numerous victories in the recent election cycle! We gave it everything we had, and our efforts were rewarded!  However, the fight isn’t over! Now that we have depleted our resources, we need your support more than ever. Please donate today to help replenish our resources. Our party depends on it!

SREC Meeting

State Republican Executive Committee members met for a final time this year for the Q4 SREC meeting (Dec 7th and 8th). During the duration of the weekend, the speaker race was unfolding over at the Capitol. It was incredible to see our members embody our conservative values of faith and unity as we joined together in prayer over the outcome.

We passed numerous resolutions that can be found at our website.

Speaker’s Race

Speaking of, do not feel helpless about the Speaker’s race. There are 4 things that you can do to make certain we get the results we need when the Texas House reconvenes to vote on January 14th:

  1. Please continue to pray. Philippians 4:6 states: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

  2. Call your representative here: (512) 463-4630. Urge them to unite behind Rep. David Cook as detailed in our resolution adopted at the SREC meeting.

  3. On January 14th, join me and other grassroots advocates in the halls of the capitol (more details to come) and wear your "Ban Dem Chairs” red shirts or hold hand-written signs saying “REFORM!” or “No Dem Chairs,” etc. Click here for more information on how to join a charter bus or caravan for the big day!

  4. The TV ad below is playing across the Lubbock area NOW. Please help us get the word out and share this video on your social media!

Coffee and Chat with the Chairman

I'm kicking off my tour across Texas on Saturday, December 21st, in Collin County! The goal of these coffee chats is to connect with patriots at each location where we can discuss your questions and get to know each other better.

This Saturday, I will be focused on Legislative Priorities and the Speaker race!

Please follow our social media @TexasGOP on X, IG, and FB to get updates!
