Dear A.,
Israel is continuing to strike advanced weapons and military facilities in Syria to prevent them from falling into the hands of terrorists.
The IDF has destroyed more than 80% of Syria’s military capabilities in the last two weeks and has carried out more than 450 strikes since the Assad regime collapsed.
The military said today that it has "inflicted severe damage on Syria's most strategic weapons: fighter jets and helicopters, Scud missiles, UAVs, cruise missiles, surface-to-sea precision-guided missiles, surface-to-air missiles, surface-to-surface missiles, radars, rockets, and more."

The video below shows a massive explosion from an IDF strike on a Syrian weapons depot last night – registering a 3.0 magnitude earthquake and preventing the site from being used by jihadist groups.

The U.S. and Israel must work together to ensure this moment of uncertainty can become a moment of opportunity to weaken our adversaries, strengthen our shared security, and expand peace and normalization across the region.
Israel’s missile defense systems saving lives
The missile defense systems we lobby for together are protecting millions of Israelis under attack from multiple fronts.
Terrorists in Gaza launched rockets at Israel over the weekend, with Iron Dome intercepting the projectiles heading toward populated areas.
Today, the Israeli Navy intercepted a drone over the Mediterranean Sea that was launched by Houthi terrorists in Yemen. And later this afternoon, the Houthis fired a ballistic missile toward central Israel – triggering air raid sirens across Tel Aviv, Holon, Rishon Lezion, Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan, Herzliya and many surrounding areas. The IDF intercepted the missile before it entered Israeli airspace.
With Israel’s defense systems protecting the Jewish state, Congress is taking important action to ensure America continues to fund Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow.
Last week, the House passed the National Defense Authorization Act, which authorizes $500 million for U.S.-Israel missile defense cooperation. The Senate is scheduled to vote on this critical legislation in the coming days.

Israel appeals outrageous ICC decision
On Sunday, Israel filed its

official appeal against the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on baseless charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
According to

The Jerusalem Post , “the hope is to get the ICC Appeals Court to reverse or freeze the arrest warrants by taking advantage of a mix of possible substantive and procedural holes left open by both the lower court and the ICC prosecutor.”
Congress must take action and

impose consequences on the Court for its outrageous behavior, including by passing the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act.
Tell Congress: Pass the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act
The ICC has reached a new low in its morally bankrupt and legally baseless attacks against the Jewish state, and Congress must now act to sanction ICC officials.
TAKE 45 SECONDS: Tell your Senators to pass the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act and urge all members of Congress to speak out against the ICC’s dangerous decision.

Over the weekend, President-Elect Trump

spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu about developments in Syria and negotiations to secure the release of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
Trump
[link removed]
reiterated today to Iran, Hamas, and the world that "all hell is going to break out" if the hostages are not released by January 20, and that "it's not going to be pleasant" if an agreement isn't reached.
America must increase the pressure on Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar to use their leverage over Hamas to pressure the terrorists to release the hostages.
