Dear John,

While responding to the pandemic must remain front and center, the urgent need to act on climate and build a better future for Maine continues to present us with extraordinary opportunities.

Please join Maine Conservation Voters and our partners for a special Zoom webinar to hear from experts involved in the Maine Climate Council [[link removed]] about the solutions they are developing to help Maine transition to a clean energy economy that works for everyone across our rural state.

The Maine Climate Council [[link removed]] is developing a new statewide Climate Action Plan for Maine with suggested actions to make our communities more resilient, and to reduce carbon pollution by at least 45% by 2030 and at least 80% by 2050. We will need your help to ensure that the state creates a strong and effective plan with concrete steps to support a vibrant economy; reduce air pollution; and build healthy, resilient and equitable communities.
