Even though she was clearly scared by the unexpected news that she was carrying a child, Mary was comforted by the words of God given to her through Gabriel. This young pregnant mom had hope, despite all the unknowns, because she knew God was with her.

As our nurses and care staff connect with moms seeking abortions, we offer them the same assurance that Mary felt so long ago.
