As you know, my team and I had to postpone our 2020 campaign kickoff with Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist earlier this year. Things are still uncertain, and we’re still adjusting to this new normal, but we’re not letting it stop us.

Each day we are seeing more and more how important it is to have strong, principled leaders in office. This November we will have the opportunity to elect representatives who will lead us through the next phases of our recovery, and we have work to do to make sure we’re ready for Election Day.

Representing a community like the 52nd House District that has such a broad range of political views is a privilege. Our community has a history of swinging between Democratic and Republican representation, and with COVID-19 changing how a safe, winning campaign can be run, earning the support required to ensure I will be re-elected will require an extraordinary amount of work.

We have cancelled our in-person fundraising events until we can meet again safely, which makes email fundraising more important than ever.
