We have some positive news to start your week: The EPA’s 50th “Automotive Trends Report” shows that automakers have made great strides in cleaning up their fleet of vehicles and reducing carbon emissions.
This is thanks to improvements such as wider use of stop/start systems, improved air conditioning systems, and most importantly the growth of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.
These efforts are significantly reducing auto pollution in the United States and contributing significantly to our climate goals.
But with Trump heading back to the White House and Republicans taking control of Congress, we have to use our voices to ensure we maintain the current pace and don’t allow them to take us backwards.
