We need to ensure we have the resources ready for the fights ahead in 2025 and beyond.
We’re already halfway through December and just two weeks away from the end of 2024 — and with it comes our final fundraising deadline of the year.
Before I ask if you can pitch in a grassroots contribution to put us on pace to reach our $30,000 goal, I hope you’ll let me explain why your support matters now more than ever.
Our December 31st deadline isn’t just a regular end-of-month deadline: it’s the end of this financial quarter and year, which means our fundraising numbers will go public for all to see. We need to ensure we have the resources ready for the fights ahead in 2025 and beyond.
This was a tough year, and I’m just as disappointed as you are in how the 2024 presidential election turned out. With Donald Trump back in the White House and his right-wing allies controlling Congress starting next month, our rights, freedoms, and democracy as we know it are at risk.
As California’s Attorney General, I’ve spent this past year taking bad actors to court, conducting investigations, and supporting legislation and policies to protect every Californian and seek justice for all. That work continues, but I’m about to get a lot busier once Trump is sworn into office. My team and I are preparing to fight back against the MAGA administration and hold them accountable for any crimes they may commit.
It’s going to take a lot of time, energy, and resources — and since our campaign is people-powered, I’m counting on grassroots supporters like you to help ensure we reach every goal we set.
With that in mind and December rapidly coming to a close, will you pitch in $5 to help us reach our mid-month goal before midnight tonight?

The more we raise from emails like this one, the less I have to worry about fundraising and the more I can focus on fighting for you as the People’s Attorney.
Thank you so much,
Rob
