Team — Last week, Mikie reached out to ask folks on this grassroots team to share what they love most about New Jersey — and what’s really grinding their gears these days.

Janet from West Orange and Christine from Manahawkin said that they love how diverse New Jersey is. Rita from Flemington said that she appreciates New Jersey’s commitment to reproductive freedom.

Richard from Morristown said that New Jersey “is a state that has something for everyone.” And Freeman from Browns Mills said it quite plainly — ”We don’t care what people say about our state, we love New Jersey!”

But as much as we all love New Jersey, it’s clear from your responses that we’re also facing lots of challenges.

Nearly everyone who completed Mikie’s survey said that the cost of living is just too high — from groceries to housing costs to taxes.

Dozens of you wrote that you’re fed up with the constant breakdowns and delays on NJ Transit.

And this team is worried that Donald Trump won’t do us any favors — that he’ll only divide us and make these problems worse.

Team, Mikie believes in the promise of New Jersey. She believes that we all have a place and a say in its future. And as governor, she’s going to give it everything she’s got to deliver solutions and get things done for hardworking families across the state — no matter what it takes.
