May 2020
Special Edition
It's a big week!
The Coalition has joined the Department of Defense, the American College
of Surgeons, the American College of Emergency Physicians and many other organizations across the country to support National STOP THE BLEED® Day - May 21, 2020. We hope you'll join in and help spread awareness of the importance of STOP THE BLEED®. The Coalition is supporting some terrific #NSTBD20 programs, including the STOP THE BLEED®  Training Kit Grant and Scholarship Programs!

It's a big week, and we're excited about it!

ICYDK it's a big week. First, it's National EMS week. This year, like last year, National STOP THE BLEED® Day takes place on Thursday of this important week. The EMS community has been such an important part of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and we are proud to be connected to their annual set of activities and engagement.

Second, tomorrow is the day - OUR DAY!

We are looking forward to all of the incredible announcements we will be making throughout the day - scholarship recipients, training kit grant awardees, and more!

Right now we are tabulating the results of the STOP THE BLEED® judges' hard work. They had a tough time selecting the scholarship recipients from an incredible set of videos and essays.

Likewise, there are so many worthy organizations that have applied for the STOP THE BLEED® training kit grants. Another tough job to determine which will receive a training kit grant.

STAY TUNED!
Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day!

Besides all of this, we've got one more special announcement to make. We wish we could give you a sneak peek, but that would spoil the fun!

We appreciate and share your passion about educating and advocating for access to Stop the Bleed training and equipment.  We will continue to provide updates related to coalition activities.

Best Regards Always,
