WHAT: Gov. Justice will chair the upcoming School Building Authority’s meeting, at which the organization will vote on another large round of funding for needs-based projects across the state.

Election Certification Ceremony

WHO: Gov. Jim Justice, WV Secretary of State Mac Warner, Presidential Electors, state and local officials.

WHAT: Gov. Justice will oversee and sign off on the final certification of 2024 General Election results, as West Virginia’s four Electoral College votes for President of the United States are formally cast in a ceremony at the State Capitol.

The ceremony will feature the four Presidential Electors selected by the Republican Party of West Virginia: Rick Modesitt of Wood County, John Overington of Berkeley County, Melody Potter of Kanawha County, and Benjean Rapp of Nicholas County.

The event is open to the public.
