Our philosophy is to never try to scare you into donating. Too many politicians treat their grassroots supporters like an ATM machine by sending relentless, panicky emails.
We’re determined to rise above that and treat our supporters with respect. Part of that respect is being honest and transparent when our fundraising dips and then politely asking if you can chip in.
We run community efforts year-round, like the recent Turkey Drive for Thanksgiving and the Toy Drive for the upcoming holidays. Doing this work year-round means we have to budget a bit differently than campaigns typically do.
We expected a dip in our fundraising after the election, but it’s slower than we had planned for.
To be fully transparent, so far this month we’ve raised $273,916.58 less than we raised in the first half of November.
No matter what, we’re glad you’re here.
