Dear NRDC Supporter,
2025 will be the most consequential year yet for our environment.
The incoming Trump administration's Project 2025 roadmap threatens to eviscerate our environmental protections. But when I say we know how to fight back against those plans and win, I really mean it.
NRDC filed 163 lawsuits to block the first Trump administration's pro-polluter assaults on our planet. And we won nearly 90% of the cases resolved.
We're preparing to do it all again, but I'll be frank, this work is challenging and costly.
That's why a generous donor has offered to donate an extra $25,000 — but only if we can recruit 225 donors by midnight tonight.
Donate now and help us unlock an extra $25,000 to stop the Trump administration's Project 2025 agenda from becoming a reality and protect our environment on all fronts.
During the first administration, we won victories to stop the Keystone XL Pipeline, restore protections for gray wolves, pollinators, and other vulnerable wildlife, defend our public lands, and so much more.
But taking on the Trump administration this time will be a whole lot harder. They will be better prepared, and their Project 2025 plan includes a detailed roadmap for how to systematically reshape our environment to:
- Open more of our sensitive public lands to oil and gas drilling, including places like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, expanding drilling and eliminating conservation protections for treasured areas
- Gut historic clean energy investments that would make significant progress in reducing pollution and tackling our climate crisis
- Gut the EPA, disbanding offices charged with protecting people from hazardous water, air, and chemical pollutants
- Dismantle our nation's climate science agency, NOAA, because they believe it's a main driver "of the climate change alarm industry"
We urgently need your gift by midnight to unlock this extra $25,000 to help block the Trump administration's dangerous anti-environment agenda.
History will be made next year. Future generations are counting on us.
Thanks for supporting our work at this critical moment.
Sincerely,
Manish Bapna
President, NRDC
