Gingerbread Extravaganza

CAI extends our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at the 11th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza. It was a day filled with festive fun and holiday cheer! From decorating gingerbread masterpieces to visiting with Santa and enjoying the balloons in the gym, it truly was a day to remember.

A special shoutout to this year's committee, volunteers, and sponsors who made this event possible. All proceeds from the Gingerbread Extravaganza go toward our neighborhood programs in Rock and Walworth counties.

TOS Reverse Advent Calendar

This holiday season, we’re bringing back our unique twist on the traditional advent calendar! Instead of receiving a treat each day, we invite you to put an item in a laundry basket daily and deliver it to our shelter when you’re ready.

Heroes' Holiday

CAI, along with the City of Beloit Police Department, is excited to invite you to our annual Heroes Holiday event on Friday, December 20th, from 4-8pm at the Rotary River Center, 1160 S. Riverside Dr, Beloit.

This festive celebration is free and open to the public. Enjoy a magical evening filled with holiday joy and community spirit, featuring activities such as candlelight hikes, visits with Santa, refreshments, winter fun, and more. In the spirit of giving, we will be distributing toys to children while supplies last, ensuring every family leaves with a smile.

AWARE's Love Light Tree

The Evansville community lit up AWARE’s 27th Annual Love Light Tree with honor and generosity—honor for those who have been special in our lives and generosity to people in our community who are experiencing hard financial times.

Through a financial donation to AWARE, community members added lights to the Love Light Tree. A white light honored the memory of one who has passed, and a colored light recognized a loved one, special friend, or relative who is living. All donations also support AWARE’s year-round work to provide food, clothing, and other items for the basic needs of Evansville families, including winter coats, Snackpackers food distributions, school supplies, holiday programs, rental assistance, and much, much more.
