[link removed] [[link removed]] As the 118th Congress comes to a close, I’m reflecting on everything we’ve achieved together to improve the lives of our community. Though the outcome of the presidential election was not what we wanted, we’ve made real progress that we should all take pride in — and work hard to protect.
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is passing a law in this deeply divided Congress — ensuring that the Grand Ronde Tribe here in Oregon receives the land compensation they are owed by the federal government.
My team and I also secured over $14 million in federal funding for critical community projects across OR-06. From improving access to clean drinking water in Independence to expanding broadband in Sherwood, these investments are already making a difference in people’s lives.
Altogether, I’ve worked across the aisle to introduce 21 bills and cosponsor 155 more — addressing key issues like expanding access to mental health care, supporting Oregon’s farmers, and making housing more affordable for working families.
