Friend, I wanted to reach out to you personally to say thank you. Thank you for all of the support you've given me as well as my Democratic colleagues during their challenging campaigns.

Like so many of you, I’m disappointed in the outcome of the presidential election. But I'm thrilled to welcome Democratic Sens. Schiff (CA) and Kim (NJ), and incoming Democratic Sens.-elect Alsobrooks (MD), Blunt-Rochester (DE), and Gallego (AZ). I’m also especially excited to welcome Sen.-elect Slotkin from the great state of Michigan! I’m encouraged by the Senate results in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin, where Democrats successfully defended four Senate seats in states won by Trump.

But now, with the election concluded, it's time to roll up our sleeves and work across the aisle on what matters most to families in Michigan and across the country.
