Dear Members and Supporters,

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for the community that made this year extraordinary. Together, we faced challenges, celebrated victories, and broke barriers that will shape the future of AANHPI representation. None of this progress would have been possible without your steadfast support—whether through your donations, event participation, or belief in our mission.

Let’s reflect on what we’ve achieved this year and look ahead to the opportunities waiting for us in 2025. Together, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive future.

Our Wins, Powered by You

This year, AAAFund proudly endorsed 22 candidates who reflect the values and aspirations of the AANHPI community. These leaders stood on the frontlines of progress, ready to challenge the status quo and amplify the voices of our communities in Washington.

We are thrilled to share that 15 of our endorsed candidates secured victories, with 5 making history as newly elected leaders:
* Senator Andy Kim (NJ): The first Korean American elected to the Senate and the first Asian American senator on the East Coast.
* Senator-elect Angela Alsobrooks (MD): The first Black woman elected to the U.S. Senate from Maryland.
* Representative-elect Derek Tran (CA-45): The first Vietnamese American to represent the largest Vietnamese community outside Vietnam.
* Representative-elect Dave Min (CA-47): The first Korean American Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California.
* Representative-elect Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10): The first Indian American member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Virginia.

Moments That Defined 2024

This year, our events brought together leaders, supporters, and changemakers to celebrate our culture, strengthen our connections, and fuel our mission. Each gathering served as a testament to the power of collective action and the importance of AANHPI representation.

Beyond our signature events, we partnered with incredible organizations to expand our reach and impact:

At the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, our National Chair Albert Shen and Endorsement Chair Irene Natividad participated in an AAPI Caucus panel, amplifying the role PACs like AAAFund play in empowering AANHPI communities. AAAFund also proudly co-sponsored the Democratic Mayors Association’s Champions of Democracy reception, further showcasing our commitment to advancing AANHPI representation at every level of government.

In California, AAAFund co-hosted the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and ASPIRE PAC’s AAPI Day of Action in Los Angeles and Orange County. These events energized voters, built momentum for our endorsed candidates, and highlighted the collective power of our community in driving change.

Honoring Leadership and Celebrating New Beginnings

We are proud to congratulate Rep. Grace Meng on her election as Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC). As a steadfast advocate for AANHPI communities and a longtime supporter of AAAFund, Rep. Meng’s leadership will undoubtedly elevate our shared mission in Congress.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Rep. Judy Chu, whose groundbreaking leadership as CAPAC Chair has driven historic progress for AANHPIs. Rep. Chu has been an unwavering partner to AAAFund, and her legacy will inspire generations of leaders to come.

Congratulations also to Rep. Marilyn Strickland on her election as Chair of ASPIRE PAC! Rep. Strickland’s bold leadership and continued support of AAAFund have strengthened the pipeline for AANHPI representation, and we are excited to see her shape the future of AANHPI engagement in federal elections.

We are honored to work alongside these trailblazing leaders who share our vision of a more inclusive and representative democracy.

Fuel the Future of AANHPI Representation

This year, we celebrated historic victories together. Let’s keep that momentum going. By donating, you’re not just funding campaigns—you’re fueling our mission to elect trailblazers, amplify AANHPI voices, and build a legacy.

Every dollar you give helps us shape a brighter, more representative future.
