Hey folks,
We here at the Democratic Party of Iowa recently had our State Central Committee meeting, one where we discussed our setbacks this election and our ideas to change for the future.
We are developing a strong strategic plan based on what we learned from this last election cycle, but many of our plans simply won’t come to fruition if we don’t have the funds to enact them. For example; hiring and maintaining a consistent group of organizers that functions year-round would gain us tens of thousands of votes. In addition, providing organizational help to our county party leaders and volunteers in 2025 could make all the difference in 2026. Right now we simply don’t have the money to make those things happen.
That is why we’re asking for a donation today. Just 25 dollars could give us the freedom to pursue real change; otherwise, our organization may be ill-prepared to deal with the midterms in two years where we have the opportunity to elect a Democratic governor.

Strengthening our party to win the midterm elections will give us the power to stop the disastrous actions we know Donald Trump will be taking. Both Congress and the Supreme Court will continue to serve his will.
We have to stick together for the sake of our state and our country.
