Team, it’s official: The Cook Political Report is calling the Virginia Governor’s race next year a TOTAL TOSS-UP:
We’ve been saying this for months now, but it’s true: the Virginia Governor’s race is set to be the most competitive statewide race in the country in 2025. We saw what happened here in Virginia and across the country on November 5 – Trump and Republicans made gains in places Democrats led in 2020.
This race is going to draw national attention, and with that comes outside money. We know Republicans are going to pour millions of dollars into this race in order to keep the Governor’s seat red, but Abigail Spanberger knows how to win competitive and tough races, and we know she has what it takes to flip this seat blue.
