Your gift means LGBTQ+ young people who don’t have affirming adults in their lives have access to Trevor’s crisis counselors. Our dedicated, trained staff and volunteers are available 24/7/365 by chat, phone, and text, helping young people get through a tough moment and see a bright future.
You’ll also help Trevor ensure that there are allies wherever LGBTQ+ young people need support and protection — in their homes, schools, doctor’s offices, local, state, and national legislatures, other government agencies, and wider communities.
This work is urgent and more crucial than ever, Friend. We learned that 90% of LGBTQ+ youth shared that their well-being was negatively impacted by recent politics. After analyzing the full day of post-election conversations across our Crisis Services team, we saw an overall volume increase of over 700% on November 6, compared to weeks prior.
