Here is why our work is so important:

✅ By electing qualified, pro-choice women to state and local offices, we are building necessary guardrails to defend against the potential damage of the incoming administration. Research shows women leaders spend time working on women’s issues. The more women in the rooms where decisions are being made – the more likely we are to see women’s rights protected.

✅ We are not afraid to work in deep red abortion ban states. These are the states where women are truly being left behind and most desperately need women representing them in their government. We’re chipping away at the male GOP supermajorities in those states.

✅ We are building a bench of qualified, pro-choice women. The more women serving in our government, the more opportunities there will be for a woman to run for president and, FINALLY, win.

✅ It is critical that our daughters see themselves reflected in their leaders. We must ensure that there is female representation at every level of the American government.

This past election, 44% of our winners were women of color, and 47% of our winners came from abortion-ban states (!!!!!). Almost ALL of our winners shattered glass ceilings with their victories.
