In addition to phasing out coal plants, we’re asking Biden to support job retraining programs for coal workers to transition to clean energy jobs and transform old coal plant sites into solar and wind energy hubs.
Coal is the worst contributor to climate change. Every day these plants keep burning, we get sicker, the planet gets hotter, and extreme weather gets deadlier. If Biden doesn’t act now, Trump and the GOP will unleash a wave of destruction that we may never recover from.
