Friend — There’s a big difference between a campaign that’s truly grassroots and one that’s not.
Politics is full of candidates who have no problem taking checks from corporate special interests, Super PACs, and mega-donors who will ask for favors later down the line.
To be honest, it’s the easiest way to win.
But Ed made the decision to represent the interests of regular people in Congress. To fight for them. And his fundraising reflects that.
Even though grassroots fundraising isn’t easy, we know it’s the right way to run a campaign. We rely on small donations from thousands of supporters who believe in our progressive vision of the future of our nation.
So, today is the halfway point of the month of December, and we’re looking to stay on track towards our End-of-Year fundraising goal.
There’s no corporate checks on the way to bail us out. It’s up to the people who make up this amazing movement to each chip in whatever they can.
