Ian Gilligan was just 15 when he was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. So rare, in fact, that he was one of only 20 children around the world with this cancer type. 
 
Ian was unsure if he would be able to carry on with his passion of golf. With the first symptom manifesting as pain under his left arm, treatment could impact the mobility of his swing. 🏌️ Dealing with this extremely rare cancer as a high school student felt isolating.  
 
Ian stayed strong. Soon after beginning treatment, he was able to get back out on the green. The much-needed respite of getting outside and moving helped mentally and physically. 
 
Today, Ian holds the #8 spot in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. With a new appreciation for life, he wants to use his platform for good. 🙌
