Democrats and Republicans alike are taking note of George’s incredible victory in CA-27 – flipping this district from red to blue in a tough election year.

POLITICO: “George Whitesides was probably the Democrats’ most impressive new recruit that they got throughout the entire country,” said one national GOP strategist who was granted anonymity to speak frankly. “I don’t think there was a better first-time candidate for them this cycle than in that seat.”

As one of the few Democrats to flip a red seat blue in November, George already has national attention. And he remains a top Republican target going into 2025 with their razor-thin majority.

George is focused on delivering results for CA-27 on everything from local job growth to health care. Meanwhile, the GOP is already preparing to make life difficult for first-year Democrats in critical districts like George’s.
