Hi Friend. I'm Maria Elvira Salazar or MES for short, and I'm a Republican running for Congress in Florida.
Being raised in Miami and Puerto Rico, I grew up with the stories of the oppressive communist regime in Cuba, led by the cruel dictator Fidel Castro, from which my parents and many from our community escaped. This experience forged in me the importance of liberty and profound pride for the United States of America, but it also proved to me the fragility of freedom. It's much like President Ronald Reagan once said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."
My specialty was uncovering and exposing communist and socialist regimes in Latin America. I spent three years reporting from a Central American WARZONE in El Salvador!
I will bring a new voice to the Republican Party. Someone who has the fight in them and love for freedom. I'm MES. And I stood up to Castro. I'll have no problem standing up to Nancy Pelosi and AOC. But I can't do it without your help. My race is one of the top Congressional races in America. Republicans always held this seat until 2018, when Democrats flipped it blue. And now, a Democrat who served in the CLINTON Administration and is close with Hillary Clinton represents us. Her name is Donna Shalala, and she holds the Socialist values that'll destroy this country! I'll be a champion for freedom and liberty. I've fought socialism before. I'll never let it come here. I will ensure our children and the next generation enjoy the same freedom my parents came seeking all those years ago!

Maria Elvira Salazar Federal election law requires political committees to use best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during an election cycle. An individual may not contribute more than a total of $2,800 (maximum for Primary Election) per election to the committee. Federal law prohibits contributions to the committee from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organizations or national banks (including corporate or other business entity credit cards), from any person contributing another’s funds, from a Federal government contractor, or from a foreign national who lacks permanent resident status.
