After serving in the Peace Corps, my parents moved to the North Country and started a dairy farm. I grew up working on the farm, earned a degree in agriculture, and later worked for a farm equipment manufacturer. For the past 22 years, with my family, I have owned and operated Twin Mill Farms, which currently has over 1,000 acres of land, 500 cows, and 12 employees.
Now, I’ve decided to run for Congress because the North Country is a national treasure and has been overlooked for far too long. It’s time for us to get the representation we deserve in Washington.
My experience as a farm owner, serving as Vice Chair on the Agri-Mark Board of Directors, and co-founding the Jules of Life Foundation – a nonprofit that assists patients and families battling cancer – has given me deep roots in our community.
But this campaign isn’t about me; it’s about all of us. It’s about all of the farmers, business owners, workers, families, teachers, coaches, and community members here in the North Country. I’m not running for Congress as a stepping stone to political power. I’m running because this is an opportunity to fight for the North Country, and I understand the challenges that folks here are facing.
