Consistent voter engagement has never been more important. That is why we are committed to year-round voter registration and civic education to ensure that our democracy is reflective of EVERYONE in PA.

Our work is making a direct and clear difference. We wanted to share one example of that with you today:

New PA Project Education Fund hosted a Party at the Polls event in Harrisburg ahead of the November 5th General Election. Our staff met a young woman (pictured below) who said she was already registered to vote, but previously thought she was unable to participate in the election due to having a felony. Our staff checked her registration status and let her know she was able to vote, and then helped her make a plan to gether to her polling location on Election Day!

She told us, “Indeed, this was the right shirt to wear today. I came for the tacos, and I leave with a voice.”

This is why we do the work we do.
