Dear Friend,
Joseph was a trained Army Airborne Paratrooper, brave and determined. Back in
civilian life, he ended up one of the unlucky people laid off when the
pandemic hit. He searched endlessly for work, but when unemployment support
was delayed for months, it left him struggling to get by…till Joseph became
homeless.
Many veterans share this similar crisis, but thanks to supporters like you,
VOA’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program can provide
housing and other support to more than 2,400 veterans each year. We need you
with us to continue this lifesaving support!
