John --
As we face a future marked by
uncertainty, with millions of immigrants under threat and civil
liberties at risk, UFE is committed to cultivating the
grassroots leadership we need. At our workshops and Trainings of Trainers (ToT), we bring
together community leaders — immigrant workers, low-wage workers,
teachers, and organizers — who are ready to fight for justice, and who
also need space to reflect, heal, and strategize.

Thanks to supporters
like you, UFE provides
grassroots leaders with essential tools to organize, build solidarity,
and confront systemic inequality. Your generosity ensures that UFE’s
political education and leadership development includes
interpretation, food, travel, accommodation,
childcare, and more — to
maximize accessibility and ensure we create inclusive, multilingual
spaces.
As vulnerable communities face
increasing threats, UFE is resourcing
ourselves to meet a surge in requests for training, mentorship,
and conflict resolution from grassroots leaders in communities
targeted by the incoming administration. In recent weeks, immigrant-led groups in
Greater Boston and Alabama are reaching out for support — they are
fielding numerous requests from community members, and need UFE’s help
crafting ways to use popular education to bring people together, learn
their rights, and enhance community safety.
