Friend -- I want you to know exactly
what we're up against this year.

Powerful special interests, GOP mega-donors and Trump loyalists
are making large contributions to my opponents to get back at me
for standing up for what's right.

Take Peter Zieve, for example.

Zieve, the owner of multi-million dollar corporation
Electroimpact, sent an email to his employees suggesting that
Middle Eastern refugees are "terrorist savages" and encouraged
his mostly white, male workers to marry and procreate so this
country won't be "backfilled with rubbish." Those who followed
his advice received bonuses.

I filed a civil rights lawsuit against Electroimpact and Zieve
was forced to pay nearly half a million dollars to resolve his
discriminatory policies.

Guess what? Zieve just made a maximum $4,000 donation to one of
my opponents. This happens to be the same opponent who recently
invested $10,000 of his own money into his campaign. Unlike my
opponent, I won't accept donations from someone who violates our
civil rights laws.

I need your help to meet our goal of matching my opponent's
$10,000 personal donation by Thursday at midnight. Will you
contribute towards our fundraising goal?

You'll be shocked (shocked!) to learn that Zieve is one of
Trump's top donors -- he gave more than $1 million dollars in
2016.

How much do you think he'd spend in dark money to defeat the
Attorney General who exposed his discriminatory conduct and cost
him nearly half a million dollars?

We can't let anyone buy this office. It's too important.

With your support, I will continue working to enforce our civil
rights laws against people like Peter Zieve -- but I can't do it
alone. Can I count on you to help me meet this goal by making a
contribution of $25 today?

Thank you for supporting the critical work we do. None of this
would be possible without you.

Bob
