While it feels like there’s not a lot of good news going around, here’s a
recent win for consumers that I wanted to share:

Huge grocery store chains getting even bigger would reduce
competition--driving up prices of everyday items and giving consumers
fewer options.

I know working people are already struggling to make ends meet. There's
certainly much more that needs to be done to lower food costs, but I’m
relieved the judge heeded our call to halt this merger and I’m proud of
the work we did for years to advocate against the deal.
