DEFENDING KANSAS SAVING AMERICA DONATE VOLUNTEER Electors To Cast Kansas’ Six Electoral Votes for Trump / Vance by Mike Brown, Chairman The Kansas Republican Party Donald Trump has secured the presidency after easily surpassing the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win. Kansas, with its six electoral votes, will contribute to his victory following his decisive win in the state. The Electoral College, established in 1787 under the U.S. Constitution, allows Americans to indirectly elect the president and vice president through state-chosen electors. A candidate must receive at least 270 of the 538 total electoral votes to win the presidency. This system provides smaller states with proportional influence, ensuring their voices are balanced against those of larger states. While populous states like New York and California might prefer a popular vote system, changing the Electoral College would require smaller states’ approval, which is unlikely given their vested interest in maintaining the current structure. Kansas operates under an “all-or-nothing” law, awarding all six of its electoral votes to Trump after he secured the state’s popular vote on November 5, 2024. These votes represent Kansas’ two U.S. senators and four House representatives. Electors are chosen according to party rules and certified by the secretary of state. Kansas’ Republican electors for 2024 include Mike Brown (Kansas Republican Party Chairman), Kristi Brown, Maria Holiday (former Johnson County Republican Party Chairwoman), Mark Kahrs (Kansas RNC National Committeeman) , Cheryl Reynolds, and Alan Townsend. Electors are typically party leaders or officials, though federal officeholders are ineligible. For a fascinating piece about the Kansas Electors and a brief history lesson, please follow the link (CLICK HERE) to access a story authored by the IKE Lab, a project initiated in February 2024. This initiative is under the guidance of Brian Amos and Alexandra Middlewood, both associate professors in the Political Science Department at Wichita State University. Others contributing include Vishnu Avva, David Hernandez, and Kian Williams. This project was made possible by Wichita State University. The electors will convene in Topeka on December 17, 2024, to formally cast Kansas’ six electoral votes for Donald Trump, memorializing and finalizing the state’s proud contribution to his presidential landslide victory and clear mandate of America First. President Donald J. Trump, the 47th President of the United States. Now that sounds nice. Kash Patel FBI Director Big Changes Long Overdue The FBI, mired in scandal and fear, is on edge—and they should be. For over a decade, failed FBI leadership has weaponized the law and twisted justice for political gain, leaning heavily toward the Democrat left. They have knowingly and purposefully intimidated and bullied Congress and the American people into complicit silence. They have wielded the might of the FBI, the United States Department of Justice, and the courts to force silent compliance and suppress dissent in an effort to conceal their unpatriotic and wretched behavior. Meanwhile, the mainstream media—essentially the communications arm of the Democratic Party—is terrified of the impending exposure. They fear that their sycophantic behavior and egregious cover-ups will be revealed. And they are absolutely right to be concerned. The best remedy for corruption is always daylight, and the curtains are about to be pulled back on the DOJ and FBI, allowing the beautiful bleaching effect of clear, bright sunshine to do its work. The media’s hysteria reveals their fear of accountability. Kash Patel—a former public defender, national security expert, and congressional investigator—represents the much-needed reform the FBI desperately requires. But where are the American elder statesmen, or any Democrats, demanding FBI accountability? Hillary Clinton, who arguably lost the presidency partly due to FBI missteps, should be leading the charge. Instead, the agency’s misconduct—from mishandling “Russia, Russia, Russia” mega-lie perpetrated by Hillary Clinton to covering up the truth about Hunter Biden’s laptop—has been met with partisan silence from Democrats. And the media isn’t just complicit—it’s actively involved covering for FBI abuses. Once-great and reputable media outlets now dutifully and falsely claim the FBI was cleared of wrongdoing, ignoring classified evidence that paints a damning picture. The Clinton-led Steele dossier fraud was used by the FBI in FISA courts to justify spying on Donald Trump’s campaign. The dossier was so egregiously fabricated that its primary source was kept on the FBI payroll for years to suppress the truth. Patel’s blunt talk about holding the press accountable has triggered feigned outrage—a tactic designed to mask the media’s real fear. They know Patel’s greatest weapon is his ability to force transparency. By declassifying documents that expose FBI and CIA overreach, he could make stonewalling too costly for the media to sustain. The larger issue, however, is the declining quality of reliable information in society. Legacy media is dead, having lost its influence to podcasters and online personalities. No longer rewarded for accurate, verified reporting, they have devolved into little more than glorified tabloids—grotesque caricatures of their former greatness. A functioning democracy depends on truth, and the collapse of journalistic integrity threatens to unravel it entirely. If Patel can drive the media into reforming itself while cleaning up the FBI, his impact would outlast any structural changes to the bureau and secure his legacy as an American patriot. Patel has made it clear: it’s not prosecutions we need—it’s an unvarnished reckoning with the naked truth. And that day is fast approaching, and coming sharply into focus. Rethinking Public Education, Reform Needed As Republicans, it's crucial that we reassess our approach to public education. Our party should be synonymous with effective and efficient public education. With President Trump dismantling the Department of Education at the federal level, we need a Republican plan for the future of education in Kansas. Here are some ideas we can pursue as Republicans in Kansas and throughout the United States. • Respect parental control in education. • Empower parents and local school boards. • Ensure safe, drug-free schools to protect students. • Reward excellent teachers with higher pay and fire bad ones. • Focus classrooms on effective teaching. • Educate students on the Constitution and essential skills. • Reinstate prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance in schools. • Provide access to advanced and gifted courses for students. • Offer internships and work experience for interested students. • Make the best online courses available for free to everyone. • Promote trade schools and vocational-technical (Vo-Tech) schools as viable options for students not pursuing college. As the Executive Director of the Kansas GOP, I had the privilege of collaborating with many dedicated Republican consultants who tirelessly work to ensure our values are represented in Topeka. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and say it was a pleasure working with JR Claeys, Jared Suhn, Chad Bettes, Kim Keaton, Logan Patrick, Kris Van Meteren, Dustin Morris, Sarah Fishel, Patricia Inzerillo, Sheila Wodtke, Kristi Brown and Eric Pahls this cycle. Republicans across Kansas owe each of these individuals a big thank you for their outstanding efforts in winning Republican campaigns. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the best boss and manager I've ever had, Chairman Mike Brown. His leadership skills are truly exceptional and rare. Throughout his tenure, Mike has faced relentless attacks from jealous and malicious individuals who resort to lies and slander to tarnish his and the party's reputation. Despite these challenges, when detractors tried to undermine our fundraising efforts, Mike broke fundraising records for the KSGOP, even in a non-statewide election year. Critics claimed we would lose our House and Senate supermajorities under his leadership, but Mike proved them wrong by securing five additional legislative seats. This remarkable achievement made our state the top Republican state for flipping seats, surpassing all neighboring states combined. Mike's ability to stay focused and accomplish goals, regardless of unjust attacks, is truly commendable. Thank you for your unwavering help and support. A heartfelt thanks to our incredible candidates, volunteers, and voters. God Bless Kansas and God Bless America! Democrats Receive Illegal Foreign Donations ActBlue Admits Foreign Gift Cards Accepted into September 2024 The revelations about ActBlue’s donor verification practices raise serious concerns about the integrity of U.S. campaign financing. For years, ActBlue has served as a fundraising platform for Democratic causes, claiming transparency and compliance. Yet, the recent admission that it did not block foreign-bought gift cards until September undermines its credibility and highlights glaring vulnerabilities in the system. Foreign interference in elections is a bipartisan threat that undermines the foundation of democracy. Allowing donations routed through gift cards purchased in countries like China, Russia, or Venezuela creates an unacceptable risk. ActBlue’s failure to implement these safeguards earlier exposes a disturbing loophole that may have been exploited to funnel illicit funds into U.S. campaigns. The timing of ActBlue’s policy change, coinciding with legislative pressure and investigations, suggests it acted out of necessity rather than a genuine commitment to election security. This is not a partisan issue but a fundamental question of fairness and sovereignty. Every American deserves to know that political campaigns are funded by lawful domestic contributions, not manipulated by foreign powers. While ActBlue denies wrongdoing, its delayed response warrants deeper scrutiny, which is coming. Congressional oversight and new legislation, such as the SHIELD Act, are essential to close loopholes and restore trust. Campaign finance systems must prioritize transparency, accountability, and proactive measures to prevent future abuses. Anything less invites continued interference and erosion of public confidence in our elections. Kansans and Americans have always deserved transparency on campaign finance. It is unfortunate, yet predictable, that the Democrats solely benefited from this loophole. How many Kansas Democrats financially benefited? A good first step for those Democrats who did benefit should do the right thing and return that money to ActBlue in full immediately. Campaign finance reports are due in January 2025. We will be watching and waiting to see which Democrats have the integrity to step up. Washington, D.C.
