I want to share an update with you on recent work.
My bill to add 66 new federal judgeships to address backlogged courts passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support. Read more about the bill here.
The House has also approved my legislation to streamline the passport issuance process and eliminate unnecessary backlogs. This will make it faster and easier for Americans to obtain passports when they need them most.
Furthermore, I secured $50 million in additional funding to improve water infrastructure in Riverside County, ensuring our communities have reliable access to clean water. Learn more about this investment here.
And, I urged the San Diego Board of Directors to oppose a measure that would prevent the county from cooperating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in enforcing federal laws against criminal illegal aliens. Read my full statement here.
