POLITICO reports that many Republicans in swing states “fret that Trump’s hopes are now hitched to the pandemic...The concerns give voice to an assortment of recent battleground state polling showing Trump struggling against Biden.”
It appears that Trump -- who previously berated his campaign manager for telling him he was losing -- is struggling to make voters forget about his failure of a public health response.
The bad news for Democrats? Trump knows he’s down, so now his campaign has launched a $10 million advertising offensive against Joe Biden in the very swing states Democrats need to win. The ads are brutal, attempting to smear Biden by linking him to China -- which the president has blamed for the current crisis in America.
We don’t yet know what effect those ads will have on the polls -- or whether Trump will outperform his numbers again like he did in 2016. So we need a show of support from engaged Democrats, now. Tell us:
