Oklahoma,

I, and my Senate GOP colleagues, are hard at work preparing for January 20th. Though Chuck Schumer and his Democrat colleagues are attempting to rapidly push through last-minute radical judicial nominations and stall government funding, Republicans are united in our efforts to help incoming President Donald J. Trump Make America Great Again.

This week, I continued to meet with some of President-elect Trump's cabinet nominees. On Tuesday, I met with our next director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Kash Patel. The FBI is in need of major reform, not in the field, but on the Hoover building's 7th floor. Kash shares my view and is committed to making the FBI mission-focused once again. As someone who advocated on his behalf, I'm excited to see the transformation of a weaponized organization under Joe Biden into a force for good that works on behalf of the American people.

As someone who speaks with President Trump on a regular basis, I've never seen an administration so ready to go on day one. Republicans have a clear mandate, and we will deliver. As your Senator, one of my most important responsibilities is my constitutional obligation to vet and review Trump’s cabinet nominees. The 47th President has made outstanding picks, and I will support ALL of Trump's nominees. Four of them however, have been making a lot of headlines.

This week, I published a 'Mullin It Over' column detailing the importance of confirming Pete Hegseth to be our Secretary of Defense, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the Secretary for Health and Human Services, Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard to serve as the Director of National Intelligence, and Kash Patel to serve as the Director of the FBI. Check it out here.

We're just 39 days out from the incoming Trump administration, but that won't stop my Senate Democrat colleagues from doing everything they can to ram through liberal priorities before they are fired by the American people. 11 appropriations bills are gathering dust on Chuck Schumer's desk, and we still need to pass the NDAA. I cannot wait for January 20th when Donald Trump will get our country back on track. Click the image above for a rundown on where things stand, and the latest on cabinet nominees.

Telephone town halls are a great way to instantly connect with tens of thousands of Oklahomans. On Tuesday evening, nearly 20,000 residents joined our conversation and I'm happy to say that our telephone town hall was an overwhelming success. We covered many topics, from the importance of confirming President-elect Trump's cabinet to bringing down everyday costs for Oklahomans. I enjoyed fielding your questions and updating everyone on my work in Washington. Thanks to everyone who took the time to listen in and participate! I deeply appreciate your feedback ahead of the next Congress.

If you missed it, listen to the conversation here.

Good news! This week, FBI Director Christopher Wray announced he will be stepping down effective January 20, paving the way for Trump’s new pick, Kash Patel to transition smoothly into the job. Now it's up to the Senate to advice and consent. That being said, the mandate set on Election Day is further proof that Americans want to reform the system. On Wednesday, I joined Neil Cavuto on Fox News to discuss exactly that.

Following my meeting with Kash Patel, I spoke with the media to discuss his plans to end the weaponization of our justice system and how I can help him succeed. Kash, and all of President-elect Trump's nominees, are doing exactly what they need to be doing. They're taking the fight to Capitol Hill, meeting with senators, and earning support to keep noes off the board. Again, I’ll do everything I can to help all these nominees succeed.
