The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) have worked together to update the Child Care Regulation Provider Portal to add a place for information regarding T3C Service Packages, specifically for Child Placing Agencies (CPAs) that have a contract with DFPS or one or more of the Single Source Continuum Contractors (SSCCs).

After a CPA receives confirmation from DFPS that they have been issued an Inactive Interim or Inactive Full Credential to provide one or more of the 9 T3C Foster Family Home Service Packages, which may also include one or more of the 3 Add-On Services, the CPA may then Credential their foster homes to provide those services as well. Upon receipt of the Active Interim or Active Full Credential, the CPA will be able to enter each foster home’s Credentialed Service Packages and Add-On Services into the Provider Portal. Once a Foster Family has been issued a Credential to provide T3C Services by the CPA, and any time that the Credential status of a Foster Family changes, the CPA would need to indicate the updated Credential status on the foster home’s Operations Services page of the Provider Portal, by selecting or unselecting the appropriate T3C Service Package or Add-On Service. (See image below)
This will send the updated Credential information to the DFPS IMPACT resource record so that T3C placements can be made in foster homes Credentialed for T3C Services.
After December 15, 2024, the new T3C Services Section can be found on the “Operation Services” page, located on the Child Care Regulation Provider Portal. Below is a screenshot CPAs will see when managing their agency homes.
