Do you remember the good old days?

A secure border, and the lowest illegal immigration numbers in history, resulting in safer communities and a stronger economy.  

IRLI's Sr. Fellow Tom Homan worked hand-in-hand with the Trump Administration as ICE Director to achieve these critical objectives.

Now, Mr. Homan and President Trump are back, and we need your support to bring sanity back to our border.

Since it's been a few years, I thought it would be prudent to highlight some of the accomplishments we brought the American people last go around:

- Vindication of Presidential Travel Ban Authority: The Supreme Court vindicated IRLI’s defense of the president’s statutory authority to issue travel bans for individuals from terror-prone countries.

- Halting the Pandemic Invasion: IRLI was the first voice to publicly call for President Trump to use his authority to invoke Title 42 to exclude illegal aliens with unknown medical backgrounds who would have put our public health at risk.

- Achieving Border Security Goals: We successfully defended Trump border policies in the courts, like the Remain in Mexico program and funding and building of the wall, despite fierce opposition from lavishly-funded anti-border special interests.

- Affirming Legality of ICE Detainers: IRLI’s participation in cases challenging ICE detainers [which ask local law enforcement to hold criminals for deportation] under the Fourth Amendment culminated in the Fifth Circuit declaring them legal, agreeing with the two-step defense IRLI had developed.

Simply put: this is our moment to get back to what works.

Our end-of-year sprint is on, and we are running out of time to secure the funding needed to expand our caseload and prepare for what’s ahead under the incoming administration. With your help, we can meet our $3 million goal by December 31.
