In the 2016 election, I couldn't vote in person because I was actively serving with the US Navy, forward deployed in the Middle East. Instead, I voted by mail.

Like myself, the men and women of our armed forces can't go to the polls on Election Day when they are serving our county abroad. They rely on vote-by-mail so that they can still vote for their representatives in our government.

Vote-by-mail is available to all of us and you can request your ballot, like I just did, using this link:

You can track your ballot just like a package and see when it arrives and when it is counted.

We don't know what the election will look like in November, but we do know that it is more important than ever that we both make the right choice, and we do so safely.

You can decide how you want to vote in November, but going ahead and requesting a vote-by-mail ballot now will keep your options open.
