Hi John,

Before you break for the weekend, I want to pull back the curtain a bit and explain why your $3 support – right now – is so important.

Right now, our allies, opponents, the press - even party leaders all want to know if we have the necessary breadth of support headed into the new year.

They want to see if our grassroots campaign is actually in it for the long haul, and if we have what it takes to take on the challenges of campaigning – because the truth is, there will be many, especially in a race as close as this.

So John, let’s show them the power of our people-powered campaign.

Already, we’ve received support from across California (and the country!), but we want this campaign representative of every corner of our community — from the Central Valley to the coast, from young first-time voters to lifelong advocates for change.

Our records indicate that our donations from Philadelphia are lagging behind where we need them to be to stay competitive in this race, which is why I’m hoping you can represent 19125 and make a donation today.

So John, will you chip in whatever you can to show that this is a people-powered campaign that has what it takes to win? $3 from you would go a long way.

Thank you,

Betty
