You may have heard that the Republican Party is actively recruiting candidates to run against me next November -- and three have already filed with the Federal Elections Commission.

We don’t know a lot about these candidates yet, but we know our campaign will remain focused on accessibility and accountability.

We’ll fight for veterans, farmers, small businesses, women’s rights, immigrantion reform, workers’ rights, access to affordable healthcare, and more. We’ll put people first -- everyday Americans left behind by a broken political system corrupted by greed and special interests groups.

That’s why Monday’s grassroots, rapid-response deadline is so important. It’s an opportunity for us to keep building this campaign the right way, with regular people like you at the center of it. Will you chip in $5 or more before our deadline?

We’re going to keep doing things differently. We’re going to keep having open discussions and town halls where everyone -- including you and your family -- can make their voices heard.

We’re building a campaign where one more conversation, one more small donation, and one more vote matters a lot more than a six-figure check from a corporate PAC.

After all, we all want our communities to have good-paying jobs, strong public schools, and affordable healthcare. We want everyone to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. We all want love to triumph over hate.

We want to make our government work for the people again, not special interests or those who seek to divide us.
