Thank you to our Minnesota and New York NALpistas for showing up to our most recent mixers! We had a great time reconnecting with old friends and building community for the upcoming year. We are grateful for your reflections and are moving towards the New Year with renewed energy to continue building a democracy that works for all of us ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏼
P.S. Our Southwest Mixer is this Tuesday, December 17th at 6 pm in Aurora, Colorado! ✨ Be sure to RSVP or encourage a friend who could benefit from connecting with other New American changemakers!
New American Leaders took part in the National Immigrant Inclusion Conference in Houston, Texas!
We were joined by our alumna Nevada State Rep. Brittney Miller, Michigan Sen. Stephanie Chang, and Ohio State Rep. Munira Abdullahi for powerful conversations around Who Runs the World: Women, a panel on the importance of electing New American women to elected positions, and Ok Zoomer, a panel exploring tips and tricks to effectively mobilize Gen Z in physical and digital spaces.
In 2024, We welcomed over 200 new leaders into our NAL community and saw 83 of our alumni run in this year's election cycle. It's clear our movement shows no sign of stopping. We're looking ahead to 2025 as we prepare to support the next wave of changemakers and activists who will be the voices of our future.
Let's make the dream of a more representative government a reality! Your donation will enable us to train more diverse leaders like Ahmad and Maya so they can champion change that create a democracy that works for all of us 🏆 Donate today to ensure that New Americans continue to thrive in the new year!
