Infrastructure projects are booming under President Biden!

In the three years since the landmark — and much overdue — bipartisan infrastructure law was passed, over $695 billion dollars have funded more than 74,000 projects around the country to get the U.S. in tip-top shape.

One Country Project has been calling on President Biden to modernize, update, and rebuild our critical infrastructure since day one, and today, from airports to broadband, the Biden Administration is investing in America, and much of it is helping farmers, rural communities, and small businesses:

• $2.5 million is helping farmers and small business owners in rural Kansas expand clean energy production and lower energy costs.
• Louisiana is in the midst of its largest broadband internet project to date which will take high-speed internet statewide with a focus on rural and low-income communities via a robust public-private partnership.
• Grants are improving digital tools for rural patients in Colorado and Mississippi by better connecting them to telehealth for follow-up appointments, remote monitoring of chronic conditions like diabetes, and easier-to-operate systems that allow patients to make and reschedule appointments and contact healthcare providers quickly and efficiently.
• More than 2,400 drinking and wastewater projects have been undertaken to upgrade and improve water systems across the country, including projects that will deliver clean water to as many as 100,000 Tribal households.

President Biden is committed to funding the most pressing needs of rural Americans. The infrastructure projects started by the Biden administration will benefit Americans for decades, from rebuilding roads and bridges, upgrading ports and freight lines, enhancing our energy grid systems, and even building high-speed passenger rail, these investments will provide huge gains for the American people.

But our work isn't done. Over the next four years, the One Country Project will continue to fight for more investment in critical infrastructure to ensure rural communities can be prosperous, productive, and thriving.
