Our team is getting used to a whole lot of changes as Elissa goes from being a Member of Congress to a Senator for the state of Michigan.

One of the biggest changes? Instead of constantly running for reelection every 2 years, Elissa has a 6-year term to serve before she has to run again. (She is THRILLED!)

Our team is hard at work devising our political plans for the coming years, since she won’t be up for re-election until 2030. But Michigan will stay at the center of the political universe in the next election cycle — we’ve got a Senate race AND a Governor’s race on the ballot, and lots of good candidates coming up that Team Slotkin will be supporting when and where we can.

We’ll also be using this email list to provide you with opportunities to support deserving candidates and causes in Michigan and all over the country as we get closer to

the 2026 midterms. Elissa believes strongly that we need to have an effective response to the Trump administration, so a strong political plan is vital.
