John, more than 300 years ago, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded by William Penn on the values of respect, dignity, opportunity, and freedom for all.

Today, as your Governor, it’s my responsibility to uphold these values so that every Pennsylvanian — no matter what you look like, where you’re from, or who you pray to — has a place in our Commonwealth.

These are the principles that guide my leadership every day, John. If you also believe in the principles of freedom, equality, and opportunity, will you chip in to support our team as we continue the work of building a better Pennsylvania for all?

Now more than ever, it’s important that we remind ourselves just what kind of freedom we’re fighting for here in Pennsylvania: We’re fighting for real freedom.

That means the freedom to make decisions about your own body. The freedom to marry the person who you love. The freedom to work a stable job and provide for your family. And the freedom to make your voice heard in our democracy and have your vote counted.

Freedom is what our great Commonwealth is all about — and I’m deeply grateful to have you by my side in this fight.

Look, we’re at a critical moment in Pennsylvania’s history, John. We’ve seen extremists try time and time again to roll back our fundamental rights. But I promise you this: No matter what tricks they try to pull, I will always fight for our shared Pennsylvania values.

It’s going to take a continued grassroots effort to beat back extremism in all its forms. So before our next big fundraising deadline on Sunday, will you chip in to support my fight for real freedom, opportunity, and justice for all?
