Governor DeWine Appoints Blackburn-Dolan to
Bowling Green Municipal Court
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Alyssa Blackburn-Dolan to the Bowling Green Municipal Court.
Blackburn-Dolan, of Bowling Green, will assume office on January 2, 2025, and will be taking the seat held by Judge Mark Reddin, who is retiring on December 31, 2024. She will serve the remainder of the unfinished term and will need to run for election in November 2025 to retain the seat.
Blackburn-Dolan began her legal career in January 2014 as an attorney for Noble, Montague & Moul, LLC, while also serving as the assistant law director for the city of St. Marys. In April 2014, she transitioned to the role of assistant prosecuting attorney for Wood County, a position she held until 2022. Most recently, she has served as the city prosecutor for Bowling Green.
In 2008, Blackburn-Dolan received a bachelor's degree in interpersonal communication from Bowling Green State University. She earned her juris doctorate from the University of Toledo in 2013.
