More than three years after our messy and mortifying Afghanistan exit,
Secretary of State Antony Blinken finally had to face the House Foreign Affairs
Committeeā€”but did he take any responsibility?Of course not
<[link removed]>
.

He passed the buck, tried to blame Trump, and made more excuses than a kid
caught shoplifting a candy bar. This embarrassment of an administration has a
zero-accountability MO on just about everything.

But as if our mortifying Afghanistan exit wasnā€™t bad enough, weā€™re still
giving theTaliban
<[link removed]>
lunch money every dadgum day.

My friend, who goes by the name of ā€œLegend,ā€
<[link removed]> is an Afghan American and
former U.S. Army noncommissioned officer who has deployed to Afghanistan many
times and even went to Kabul to rescue people left behind during our disastrous
withdrawal. He explained to me that the UN flies the cash from the Federal
Reserve Bank of New York to the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan Central Bank,
which is managed by aterrorist
<[link removed]>
.

Millions of U.S. tax dollars
<[link removed]> are being doled out to
evil-doers who hate Christians and Jews and kill Afghan citizensā€”and Secretary
Blinken doesnā€™t seem to mind. He thinks you should be okay with giving them
money because itā€™s ā€œ0.1 percentā€ of the cash we blindly funnel into the UN and
Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

Let me be clear: I donā€™t care if itā€™s a dadgum penny.

These monsters will hate us for free. Why let them use our own cash against us?

This is exactly why I recently introduced legislation
<[link removed]>
to make sure our tax dollars donā€™t go to terrorists who want to wipe us off
the map. The bill draws a hard line with strict oversight and accountability
measures to keep every red cent of American money out of terroristsā€™ hands. The
"No Tax Dollars for the Taliban Act
<[link removed]>" passed in the
House, and I look forward to the day itā€™s put into motion.

This isn't just a fight for our tax dollarsā€”it's a rallying cry for our safety
and our valuesā€”no more American money for terrorists.

The Tennessee Tree šŸŽ„

<[link removed]>

For more than 100 years, the National Christmas Tree
<[link removed]> has been a beautiful sight to see during the
holidays in our nationā€™s capital. But what makes this Washington staple so
special is the surrounding display of trees that represent each state around
the country.

This year, Tennesseeā€™s tree is adorned with ornaments made by the fifth
graders at Brickey-McCloud Elementary in Knoxville. Congratulations to the
students on this accomplishment, and thank you to their art teachers, Christi
Shields and Tracy Berry, for helping them take part in this special tradition.
