It's no secret that my opponent cares more about his wealthy campaign donors than he does about what's best for his constituents. Even so, it's shocking to see sometimes.
Here's the latest incident:
William Timmons has taken over $20,000 from predatory payday lending advocate & investor Dan Adams and his business.
Last month, just weeks after he voted against free testing and expanded paid sick leave, he sent a letter to the Fed asking to use taxpayer money to bailout the payday lending industry.
Payday lenders prey on poor Americans, and that is what my opponent thinks is worth prioritizing during this pandemic. William Timmons' influence can be bought. Mine can't.
I'm extremely disappointed, and I need your help to show him that you are too. We have a serious opportunity to unseat him in November, and I can't do it alone. Wealthy lobbyists like Dan Adams will continue to fund Timmons' campaign and buy his influence, but I'm only taking money from grassroots donors like you.
